The Inlet Spring Regatta is held in the City of Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada.  Burrard Inlet has been home to the Indigenous peoples of the Musqueam, Sḵwxwú7mesh and Tsleil-waututh, who have resided in this territory for thousands of years.

Port Moody is a city in Metro Vancouver, at the east end of Burrard Inlet.  Known as the City of the Arts, Port Moody is bordered by Coquitlam on the east and south, and Burnaby on the west. The site venue, Rocky Point Park is known for its beautiful amenities and has five local breweries, The Boathouse RestaurantPajos Fish and Chips. and Rocky Point Ice Cream all within one to five minutes of walking distance.

Getting There

Arrive in an earth-friendly manner by taking the SkyTrain! The Millennium Line to Moody Centre Station stops a mere 150 meters from the dock. Upon exiting the station, walk west and cross the bridge toward the inlet. Approximately a 10-minute walk. 

Parking and Drop-Off Area

  • A drop-off area for team equipment will be located in the Rocky Point parking lot.

  • There are free parking lots at and around Rocky Point Park but please note that they have a 4-hour limit, as do the streets around the park. Please read the signs. 

  • Parking is available at West Coast Express/Moody Centre SkyTrain for $3.00/day and tickets may be purchased at the Compass machines by the turnstiles. Once you activate the touch screen look for the Parking button on the lower right. Tickets may also be purchased through the TransLink Park&Go app. The zone number for the lot is 6049. 

  • Google Maps estimates the walking time to the venue to be 9-minutes. Use the stairs at the west end of the parking lot. At the top of the stairs turn right and cross the overpass over the railway tracks toward the water.
