Paddlers Village

Paddlers Village at Rocky Point Park

The Inlet Spring Regatta's Paddlers Village is located in the parking/boat launch area of Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, B.C. It's located just yards from the pier and within walking distance of The Boathouse Restaurant, local breweries, and other businesses. View our location photos.

Getting There

The location is a 10-minute walk from the Moody Centre SkyTrain Station (Millennium Line). 

Parking and Drop Off Area

  • A drop-off area for team equipment will be located in the Rocky Point parking lot.

  • There are free parking lots at and around Rocky Point Park but please note that they have a 4-hour limit, as do the streets around the park. Please read the signs. 

  • Parking is available at West Coast Express/Moody Centre SkyTrain for $3.00/day and tickets may be purchased at the Compass machines by the turnstiles. Once you activate the touch screen look for the Parking button on the lower right. Tickets may also be purchased through the TransLink Park&Go app. The zone number for the lot is 6049. 

  • Google maps estimates the walking time to the venue to be 9-minutes. Use the stairs at the west end of the parking lot. At the top of the stairs turn right and cross the overpass over the railway tracks toward the water.

Tents

  • Tent sites will be located in the boat launch parking lot at Rocky Point.

  • Tent allocations announced in race package.

  • Teams will be assigned a numbered site - refer to site map and tent allocation list

  • Team tent sites will accommodate (2) 10 by 10 ft tents - no tent pegs allowed as the site is a paved area

  • Weights are a must to secure tents in case of windy conditions. Bring empty jugs to fill and Zip-ties to secure tents to.

  • Any materials brought to secure tents MUST be removed at the end of the day

Paddle and PFD Vests NOT Provided

Note that ALL participants must bring their own paddles and PFDs. Please contact your club for use of paddles and PFDs.

Beer Garden

Sponsored by Yellow Dog Brewing, the garden opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m. Please present ID.
(Beer, cider and non-alcoholic selections)

Water: A water station will be provided. Please bring your own water bottles.

  • No team is allowed to sell items or fundraise at the regatta without written permission.
