What’s a woodal!?

The Inlet Spring Regatta is unique in that we have carved wooden medals, that one of our fans dubbed last year as a “woodal." They are created by Beyond Mars Trophies.

Designs feature our logo, which is the kingfisher, created and gifted by First Nation artist, Glen Rabena.

Woodals are presented for first, second and third place in every race division of the Inlet Spring Regatta.

Please note that we do not announce our results until the end of the race-day, so we hope you will stick around to accept your team’s winnings and pose for a photo against our natural backdrop of the mountains and water of our inlet near the Rocky Point Pier.

“So well organized, from the parking attendants lining us up neatly in rows, the dock crew there to help new steers, the announcer and music, the photos, tent assignments all laid out, G2G race mgmt, fun, fast paced day, beautiful location and we won a lovely hand made wooden medal!! Well done Nothin Dragons- looking forward to 2019.” - Heather Trenholm
