2022 Regatta Date Announced

The following is a message sent via email to patrons of the Inlet Spring Regatta, which was not hosted in both 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

You are receiving this email because you or your dragon boat team participated in a previous Inlet Spring Regatta event.

In a perfect world, you and your teammates would have been on the spectacular waters of Port Moody racing in the seasons' first regatta this April. You would have been eating onsite food truck fare and lifting a glass in the beer garden with your friends. If your team did well you would be wearing the iconic 'Woodle' medal around your neck and celebrating. With that 'Covid daydream' now firmly seared into your subconscious, take heart that what is a dream will come to pass, as soon as our sport gets back on the water.

Please join us on Saturday, April 23 in 2022!

The format will remain the same with 200-meter races. We expect it to be a celebration of a group of water-loving, competitive and compassionate teams.

We look forward to a bright 2022 and the return of our beloved sport!
